Specializing in Children’s Classes
Barbara has been a school teacher for over 25 years. She has taught Kindergarten through College Age Students. She is an Academic tutor at Santa Fe Prep School and Rio Grande School. She is presently working with Zuleikha, the dancer and founder of the Story-dancer Project in the Public Schools. She works with children in the classroom, telling stories and moving in all different kinds of ways. She is always amazed at the changes she sees in the children after they have moved their bodies.
She is also a trained Nia Teacher and realizes how important movement is for children. Barbara leads StudioNia’s Children’s program which uses Rhythms, Dancing Games and Stories put to the Nia moves.
